Master every setting

A complete reference for the Verdex Dashboard — what each control does and how to use it well.

How the bot works

Kalshi runs a new Bitcoin market every 15 minutes asking whether BTC will finish above a target price. Each YES contract pays $1 if right and $0 if wrong, and trades between 1¢ and 99¢.

Verdex checks selected markets every minute. It buys YES, NO, or the first qualifying side when Both is selected; YES has priority when both qualify together. Only one position is open across the scanner. Auto re-trade allows another entry after that position closes in the same interval.

Real-money entries require exchange-verified Demo buying and a zero-grace stop exit, followed by your explicit account approval. Connected faster checks target two-second cycles; the minute schedule is a fallback. Neither guarantees exact-second timing.

Market

Choose BTC, ETH, SOL or XRP 15-minute markets. Free selects one; PLUS selects up to four, fetched in parallel. The scanner enters the first qualifying market and waits until its position closes before entering another.

Entry time

The two handles on the Entry Window bar set the start and end in minutes:seconds before close. For example, 5:00 — 0:30 allows entries between five minutes and thirty seconds before close. Cloud checks run every minute and can miss narrow windows.

Price range

The two handles on Entry Price Range set the minimum and maximum ask in cents. The bot only buys when the selected side's ask is within that range. A range like 60–85¢ targets outcomes the market already favors; lower prices are cheaper but riskier.

Take profit & stop loss

New strategies use offsets: +5¢ profit and −3¢ stop on an 80¢ fill produce targets of 85¢ and 77¢. Set either to 0 to disable that exit. Existing absolute-price settings remain labeled as legacy targets until you deliberately change the mode.

Balanced stops first attempt the protected price, then chase on a later check after the grace period. With grace set to 0, the first attempt uses the current bid without waiting. Protected stops never chase below the configured floor. Fills are not guaranteed; Passive resting stops are not available yet.

If neither triggers, the position settles at $1 or $0 when the window ends.

Contracts

Free allows 1 contract per order. Plus has no plan-level cap; exchange limits and available balance still apply. Orders can fill partially. Your maximum entry cost before fees is contracts × price.

Auto-continue

When on, the bot keeps trading window after window. When off, it stops after one completed trade.

Loss cap

A PLUS safety limit for each interval. Pause blocks new entries after realized losses reach the cap. Flatten also attempts to close an existing position when realized losses plus its marked loss reach the cap. Positions remain subject to liquidity and stop execution rules.

Paper trading

PLUS paper trading uses fresh Kalshi quotes and displayed orderbook depth to simulate full or partial fills. No orders are sent. Paper P&L is separate and currently excludes estimated fees. It runs while this page is open. Kalshi Demo uses exchange practice funds and is separate from Paper; Demo is available on Free.

Activity log

Shows every action: entries, exits, take profit and stop loss hits, settlements and errors, with times. In cloud mode it refreshes automatically.

Priority support submissions are sorted ahead of Free in the support queue; no response time is guaranteed. Full Reflex parity is pending Demo execution testing, Passive stop execution and faster cloud timing.

Risk & tips

Prediction markets are risky and you can lose your entire stake on any trade. Past results don't predict future ones.

Test in Demo first, use small contract sizes, always set a loss cap, and check the Activity log regularly.
